What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Comments and Contact Forms

When you submit information such as leaving a comment or subscribing, we may collect information such as your name, IP address, website, or email address. Your password will not be visible in our records. This enables us to help spam detection.

This site uses Bootstrapped Ventures, the developer of WP Recipe Maker. They do not have access to any of the data collected by that plugin.

When you rate a recipe, the rating is stored in addition to the the personal data that WordPress stores.

Cookies

For your convenience (so that you don’t have to fill in details in the future), when you leave a comment you are allowed opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies.  These cookies will last for one year.

If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
